Who YOU are
"I’m a change expert, a digital nomad, serial collaborator and a single mother trying to be the best role model I can be for the next generation."
With almost 20 years experience leveraging change and collaboration to empower others to find happiness Penny has more recently: facilitated a national workshop series enabling over 800 curious types to initiate positive change, CoFounded The FBOMB Show and been published and quoted in the likes of Huffington Post, Daily Mail UK, SmartCompany, StartUp Smart, Smarter Magazine, The Age, Women's Agenda, The Sydney Morning Herald & NZ Entrepreneur.
What YOU do
Penny knew from the hundreds of change-seekers she had worked with in the past year that happiness in life and career was considered the Holy Grail. Highly sought, however, hard if not impossible to attain due to fear of failure, what others will think, feeling overwhelmed or having no clear path to get there.
"I’m on a mission to empower 100,000 women to make positive change and find their happy by 2020. My purpose is to empower women to lead happier lives by building courage, clarity, connection and tactical skill to make change. My company BKindred offers unique tactical workshops, online programs, keynote speaking and mentoring for those seeking to get unstuck and find happy change."
Why YOU do it
"I love this question…First and foremost I want to show my son that you can create a sustainable business by having a positive impact on the lives of others."
"I believe the world could be happier. If I can empower women to find happiness in their careers and their lives the on flow effects are huge. Happier families, communities and positive impact business ideas that get off the ground that otherwise would never of seen the light of day."
"I want the ability to work from anywhere in the world (eg. become a digital nomad) and I want to positively impact the communities that I travel to and immerse myself in the culture."
70 per cent of Australians are either ambivalent or completely disengaged in their work, costing our economy an estimated $54.8 billion per annum (Gallup 2013).BKindred offers unique tactical workshops, online programs, keynote speaking and coaching for anyone or any businesses to get unstuck and find happy change.
How YOU started
Everyone has to start somewhere. This short video provides a solid catalyst for how it all began for Penny.
Who YOU look up to
"Where do I begin... The Rockstar kind who show up in person and online at my workshops and programs showing courage to make a change and just needing a little help with the how. I have consistently been blown away with how much-untapped potential exists and how individuals are the biggest barrier to exploring their own possibility. The first step is always having the courage to say I need help to make this change because my happiness is a priority."

What YOU want to say
"There is no perfect plan when you want to make a change. Action breeds clarity. Take one action any action and see what happens. You’ve got nothing to lose and so much to gain."
"The more you share an idea the more it grows. If you have an idea that you want to bring to life and you don’t know where to start. Start sharing it and let others help you to grow it. You may also be surprised at what possibility knocks on your door when people know what matters to you."
"Learn to love failure. Failure can be an amazing lever for growth and change. I no longer call it a failure when I want to do something new I call it a pilot, this changes your mindset so it puts you in testing mode. You're out to prove or disprove a hypothesis and either way it doesn’t matter because you will always learn something. Every action you take the works or doesn’t act as a stepping stone to where you are meant to be."
Recently Penny delivered a keynote in her bathing suit in front of 100 professionals, to demonstrate the power of finding comfort in discomfort in order to make impactful change. The moment was accoladed by professionals globally with in excess of 41,000 views and inspired the #nakedforchange experiment.
"I’ve since shared my bathing suit moment on social media, and received more than 26,000 views in three days, and an influx of positive comments on multiple social platforms. It’s reaffirmed my belief that the professional world is desperately seeking real and raw role models."
So here is Penny's challenge to you; if you seek to be a no bullshit leader and enable positive change in your workplace, your personal life or in society, join her experiment. She's calling the experiment #nakedforchange because she wants you to feel the impact and learn the magic of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Be BOLD. Be YOU!
