X NIHILO x VAMFF x Vogue Runway Show

In 2017, more than 65,000 people attended the weeklong event. As the festival continues in 2018, all eyes are on the latest behind the scenes images from Runway 1 that took place last Tuesday.

In association wit L’Oreal Paris at Priceline Pharmacy, Vogue.com.au took over Runway 1 at the Royal Exhibition Hall to kick start Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

X NIHILO had the honour for the third time in a row since it was first established (2016) 16 months ago to be invited and grace the Vogue runway at VAMFF. The Vogue runway presents one of the Festival’s most highly anticipated leading Australian contemporary designer including Albus Lumen, Camilla and Marc, Dion Lee and Scanlan Theodore.

Vogue Fashion editor & Market director Pip Moroney miraculously curated the runway looks to showcase Australian designers, stay true to each designer’s design essence and capturing the artistic side of fashion that is all-so-Melbourne – gritty but not pretty.


We are in love with Pip’s style and what an amazing job paring Albus Lumen with Sylvyearl (Millinery Studio) and architectural luxury leather bags from Melbourne based X NIHILO.
