Cool Vibes

Rainy days, open fires and hot chai lattes – winter is on its way! As the Autumn leaves disappear from the streets and the mornings become crisp it’s time to start organising your winter wardrobe. And what’s not to love about winter dressing - keeping cozy in layers of jumpers and coats, accessorising with gloves, hats and scarves and warm shades of camels and tans. Here are a few of our favourite trends for this winter!

Checks and tartans

If fashion week street style is anything to go by Prince of Wales checks and tartans are definitely trending for Winter 18. Tartans and checks in earthy neutral colours like camel, tan, beige and cool shades of grey have been popping up all over Instagram this winter. Reminiscent of Princess Diana in the 80’s, a checked double breasted blazer is the perfect go-to piece!

A statement bag like the Eight Mini in tan will compliment checks and tartans perfectly. Take inspiration from Chloe Plumstead, Marilee  Pham and Sheryl  Luke.

Chunky oversized knits

It’s a given that knits would make our list of winter fashion trends, however this season the fluffier, chunkier and bigger – the better! There’s nothing better than an oversized wooly jumper to keep you cosy and warm throughout the winter months. Think cashmere, mohair, merino and alpaca knits with knitted detailing, turtle necks and slouchy oversized fits.

We love leather and wool together, get inspired by Andy Csinger and accessorise your knits with the Bank in black.

Jewel tones

Jewel tones are the perfect way to introduce a pop of colour into neutral or dark toned winter wardrobes. We’re currently obsessing over warm hues of burgundy, cool sapphire blues, vibrant ruby reds and lush emerald greens. Wear these colours in luxurious materials like cashmere, leather and silk to really feel royal.

The Bank Mini in wine is your perfect ruby red companion, shown here by Gabriele Gzimailaite.
